Nigel Barber - Company Director

Quill Power Communications Limited is headed by Nigel Barber, a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).

• A communications graduate and former journalist with 20 years’ public relations experience
• Providing public relations and stakeholder management guidance to the public transport sector for over 10 years
• Former Head of Communications for Network Rail's West Coast project from 2002 to 2004, leading cross industry communications through to the successful introduction of Virgin’s 125mph London-Manchester service

Nigel formed Quill Power Communications Limited in 2004 with a view to providing first class public relations guidance and support to a wide variety of clients. Projects to date have included:

• Arriva’s successful ‘CrossCountry’ franchise bid
• Design consultation for Edinburgh Tram
• Future extension of Manchester’s Metrolink tram system
• The Community Rail Development Strategy
